funny how one project begets another. i recently designed and built an enormous armoire for our house and with some of the leftover plywood, I built a large speaker cabinet for one of my guitar amplifiers. that cabinet build involved cutting 4 circular openings in my 3/4” Baltic Birch plywood remnants. I repurposed these cuts for use as small maritime paintings as they immediately recalled the porthole view of a sea passage. this painting is the sister of where we go, 2020.
